Welcome to my virtual art gallery & studio space. I use this platform as a creative space to showcase my personal therapeutic art making, artistic processes, and creative experimentation.

 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist in north western Wisconsin. I am a Wisconsin native, and grew up in northwestern Wisconsin near the St.Croix River Valley.  I moved to  Milwaukee to earn my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. I pursued course work at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in psychology and art education. I have over ten years of experience in arts-based community practice, working with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Milwaukee Public Theatre, Milwaukee Public Schools, DanceWorks Inc., and Americorps. I later moved to Southern Illinois to pursue graduate school at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and earned my Masters of Arts in Art Therapy Counseling. My professional artistic practice explores art making for healing, growth, and recovery.
